If you haven’t seen this yet and don’t have a way to process credit cards for your photography business, this is pretty cool. And the best part, it makes use of technology you probably already have, your iphone! It’s not available yet, but coming soon from mophie.  Use this tool in your photography business to make processing transactions easier!

Basically, it’s a case that fits around your iphone 3g or 3gs (sorry not for 4g iphones). At the bottom of the case, there is a magnetic strip that allows you to slide your customers’ credit card. Mophie encrypts the credit card information so no data is actually stored on your iphone. It automatically generates a receipt and emails it to your customer.

Unfortunately there is no price listed on the site either so I’m not sure how much it will set you back, but as far as convenience goes, you can’t beat it! When I called they don’t have a release date yet, but you can get on their mailing list and they will email you as soon as it becomes available. You also need to download the marketplace app from the Apple App store.
