Sometimes in an organization or business that is facing marketing issues, a rebranding strategy can be a smart strategy. An organization I am active in, Toastmasters International, has deployed a rebranding strategy with a goal of gaining exposure and momentum to help grow their organization.

For nearly 100 years, Toastmasters has been creating leaders and producing confident speakers, whether the members are speaking to groups large or small. Every single week, people from all over the entire world gather in their local communities to work on their leadership and speaking skills.

In my opinion, this organization is one of the most cost-effective, powerful organizations that is literally there for the taking and accessible to everyone. The problem is, many people still aren’t aware of Toastmasters or how easy it is to get involved.

As president of a local club, when I heard that Toastmaster’s was rebranding I was full of anticipation to see the new logo. When it was released, I was thrilled to see that it was a well-designed, dynamic look to give them a strong international presence. A new brand creates a reason to generate publicity from one end of the world to the other and is a reason to get their members talking about them. It also creates a need to update all of the Toastmasters marketing and promotional materials with a fresh and current look. The new branding shows the world that Toastmasters is still a leader in what they do.

If you too want to LEAD, join a local Toastmasters club to increase your skills and watch your business grow. Improve your skills, network with other future leaders in your community and watch your business soar!
